History & Mission
The International Link (“Link”) had its beginnings in the 1990s through the efforts of Jim & Carol Scogin, who had a desire to serve the many internationals in the Augusta, Ga., area. Out of their work The International Link was born in 2002 as a non-profit organization that would serve the international visitors who come to our campuses for study, research, and military training. Today Link exists as an interdenominational Christian organization that works in cooperation with many local churches to serve international guests in the Central Savannah River Area. (Click here for a list of church partners.) We currently serve internationals at the following campuses:
• Medical College of Georgia
• Augusta State University
• Fort Gordon |
• Paine College
• Aiken Technical College
• Augusta Technical College |
